2010 - 2011
In 2010, a group of experienced ex - Private Bankers with extensive knowledge both in asset management as well as emerging markets came to the realization (understanding) that wealth management in Greece was limited both in its scope and operation.
Up to that point, and to a lesser extent nowadays, the country’s biggest Banks were the major participants/players involved, via their respective Private Banking departments.
The above-mentioned conclusion led to the creation of Wealth Financial Services, a pioneer in its field. The aim of the company is to combine successful /established practices with innovative and outside-the-box thinking in order to attain its clients’ goals.
Its decision to cooperate with Euroxx Securities, one of the largest and most prestigious securities brokerage firms in Greece allows Wealth to provide an ‘open architecture’ approach in the selection of its investment proposals
In 2013, Wealth has become the largest tied agent in Greece, doubling assets under advisory.
Despite the imposition of capital control, financial results are impressive:
+ 25% on turnover
+ 10% of pre-tax earnings
+ 45% in the underlying assets
The profitability of Wealth is beyond expectations. The Company has a leading role in the Greek market and participates as an investment advisor in all the Greek corporate bonds which were issued in the Athens Stock Exchange. Finally, the upgrade of the company is completed with its new prestigious premises in the heart of Athens.
In February 2017, Michalis Sallas-led investment corp. Lyktos Group, joined the shareholders’ scheme by obtaining its 22%. Mr. Sallas, founder of Greece’s leading Bank, Piraeus Bank, is the major shareholder of Pancretan Bank which is the largest co-op (cooperative Bank) of the country.
